Jacqui Whalley: Associate Professor Jacqueline (Jacqui) Whalley’s research interests lie in the field of computer science education, with a particular focus on the teaching, learning and assessment of programming. As an avid programmer, she is intrigued by the challenges faced by novice programmers and how research-informed approaches to teaching may be applied to enhance student success.
Paul Denny: Paul Denny is an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science at the University of Auckland. His research interests include developing and evaluating tools for supporting collaborative learning, exploring the ways that students engage with online learning environments, and improving the feedback generated in such platforms.
