How to Advance your Career in Learning and Teaching?

Abstract: Increasing student enrolments in the area of ICT and the pace of change in the sector has placed higher education institutions under significant pressure to adapt to this rapidly changing environment while maintaining the quality of the student experience. In this context, academics in the area of Computer Science are required to embrace a more systematic approach to innovation. Embracing innovation is proving to be crucial to manage the complexity of teaching and learning operations and to adapt to the level of change required to align the skills of the graduates with the demands in the sector. However, the path to attain these skills is not clearly defined. This workshop is for those academics that want to explore a systematic approach to identify and implement impactful contributions in the area of CS education. The workshop is specially aligned with the responsibilities of academics that are Education Specialists or Teaching Focused.
